Glynhill Hotel

Rather a cheating Blip today. It may have been noticed I make frequent visits to Glasgow, not far from the airport, last week I posted a picture of the Premier Inn at the airport, but normally this is where I stay. This is also close to the airport.

I am not always able to get in as it is very popular and has tribute bands at the weekends for which many people stay over. Despite the difficulty of getting rooms it is quite a large hotel and seems to have been built in a number of different phases. In fact the original building, a small fraction of the total space, I think originally belonged to a religious sect, though I forget which one.

Very friendly staff ensure I am properly looked after. Especially in the bar maybe?
