Meteorological Autumn

On Sunday morning, Mr&MrsB came by with the above two bottles as a "belated" birthday present. They had wanted to come at midnight but I did not see their visit request text message! As reported yesterday I wasn't feeling too grand first thing and could not thank them personally, so this is my attempt to put this right. A truly fabulous present especially as we have a few days of summer forecasted in the next few days and they have set me up for the winter months too. For the observant one's, they had attached stickers to the necks and hung them with the two delightful wood decorations; a butterfly for the No1 and a snow flake for the winter cup. When they do something, they do it right. THANK YOU BOTH SO VERY MUCH. I hope we can enjoy them together, that is if MrA publishes his Winter Cup recipe or we need to find a way of blackmailing Angelique.

Today itself was great. I felt on good form from the minute I woke. Did the usual animal jobs and at midday Birgit (nursing service) came declaring she had now "de-activated" me. I had hoped she might hit the "delete" button - from past experience, she probably reckons on me being a customer again, but hopefully not too soon. So also take this opportunity to say THANK YOU BIRGIT & TEAM, a great job done on a very difficult patient!

Although feeling so fit and with countless jobs to do in the garden, the afternoon ended up being tied to the phone talking to friends and ex colleagues. Also take this opportunity to wish young Matteo in Berlin a quick recovery from breaking his writing arm elbow just a few weeks after starting his first year at skool school - loads of get well soon licks from Luna. Weather was cool and cloudy during the day so it wasn't a lost day by any means and good to catch up on news. I still have a few e-mails to answer ... tomorrow hopefully. To crown off the day, the sun came out this evening and the forecast is warm (Tue), warmer (Wed), warmest (Thur). Yipppeeee.

Hope you survived Monday and if you started reading this Blip on Tuesday then rejoice, it is now Wednesday and the weekend beckons. Sorry for so much blurb... again.
