Strange Fruit

The gardeners amongst you will have spotted that the tree is a cherry tree and that there is a Hokkaido squash growing in it.

That is how we roll here in Hessen.

If we rolled... Which, quite frankly, I doubt we do.

And if anyone tried, I'm sure there would be trouble. At least an article in the Wiesbadener Kurier about it.

But yep, a trailer from the pumpkin plant made its way into the cherry tree and a very sweet little pumpkin is the result. Go large and you'll see it's not an orange. Honest.

Temperatures fell to a very Scottish 13°C today and I was woken very early this morning by the sound of lots of rain. It's been like that all day.

The title of today's Blip is also the name of a Billie Holiday song. Beautiful and shocking.
