Count Basie - April In Paris

A night at the Tokyo Blue Note to see The Count Basie Orchestra. Such a full and beautiful sound. Solid. Somewhere in my heart big band music has always been great, probably from having played it at school for bands. Although it wasn't really part of my musical listening you cannot refuse a great performance. Such a great night and I always feel alive when I come here. Worth every penny. World Class. The acts that have performed here are in the history books so it really speaks for itself.
