An ordinary life....

Look-Out Post...

Headed down to pick best bud Agnes up and her and me and her sister Jean headed off to our childhood village to see how the regeneration is going. Sadly despite the weather forecast saying it would be warm and sunny it wasn't. It was warm, over cast with drizzly rain instead. Boo.

That didn't stop us getting out the car and going for a wander. The new houses are going up quite quickly and it's very strange seeing a new building sitting where your childhood home used to sit. In the middle of the wasteland we bumped into a long term resident of the village and spent a pleasant little while catching up. Had planned to blip some of the new houses but the weather was so dull and horrible, the photos were depressing, so you get the bird instead.

Afterwards we went to Agnes's for lunch and a blether. Headed home and as I got north of Dunblane the weather cleared to blue skies and sunshine.

Wasn't long home when I got a text from Agnes to say she'd left her purse in my car. Nothing else for it but to meet half way at Stirling tomorrow to hand it over and the fact we've arranged to meet at lunch time at an eatery is purely coincidental.

:)
