Well ... I can't remember ever seeing geese cranes passing overhead here before -- I was alerted by the cronk-cronk sound and just pointed and blipped. Wrong lens, wrong lighting conditions, but unusual enough to blip. These are the stragglers -- a much larger group had just passed, but was too far away. This might be slightly better large.

This evening, to the Tira-tap again with friends. It was full again; we're so glad it's working well now. Maria's oenologist husband was on hand, and we benefited from his expertise with an excellent bottle of Vacqueyras and then a discovery of Quincy, a neighbour of Sancerre; a delightful flowery Sauvignon. Makes a change from drinking Corbières all the time.
