Showdown: Pecker v Hummer

Zippy This male Black-chinned hummingbird is carefully taking in  Rosie the Riveter.  I'm not sure she he really knows what to do about her.

Rosie is now my resident female Gila Woodpecker, who has been enjoying the sugar water meant for the hummingbirds as much as the little guys themselves.

Rosie  and her husband Francis, seem to be permanent fixtures now in the area of my backyard.
