Canals

After the race yesterday we had a thoroughly relaxing evening. Dinner, rubgy, spa, then bed.

And to cap that off the next morning we got to sleep in until 9am (no kids), then a spa again, out to breakfast on the Wanaka waterfront. Simply divine!

And then the drive home, on a lovely day up the Mackenzie. Along at some stages, these canals. Which has just reminded me tonight to watch an old (1987) movie called The Leading Edge. Clip 2 shows them bare footing behind a Landover along these canals. Cheesy, but that was the eighies eh ;-)

Not allowed these days (of course) ...
