Ice Skaters, Glasgow, George Square.

Today I had some issues with my laptop producing messages that it was almost full. So after some advice from the Apple guys I headed for George Square to see what was happened on the Christmas scene. Skaters were just emerging on to the ice-rink. This has been set up for the winter and young people were really having a great time and it was lovely to watch.

I took lots of shots as the light faded and was using ISO at the maximum of 3200! This was taken at 1/100 f/3.2 and I used the rink wooden barrier with the camera cushioned on my gloves to keep it steady. This system worked pretty well. Lots of shots were discarded but I liked the expression on these girls' faces.
