Frosted Lavatera flower

A cold frosty morning and, as if touched by a magic wand, garden plants have been transformed. On 26th July I published a blip of this plant in all its summer glory. With a month till Christmas this flower is defying the wintry conditions. What a joy!

On the left is the straight shot and on the right the same picture with a polar coordinates filter. I love the way this shows the cobwebs. Isn't photography wonderful! A friend told me at the weekend that neurological research shows it is one of the best ways of exercising the brain. Great news for all blippers!
