"DUCKS 'N ROSES" ...

...Yes, down along the riverside and among the newly planted Roses, which the Council had planted during the winter, there were the Wood Ducks today...having a lovely time amongst the roses now in bloom..

...Mum, Dad and babies, almost grown up, quite a few of them, in fact, several families were there but the others weren't terribly impressed with me and a few took off in flight across to the other side of the river - Interstate that is - they don't have to go far to go Interstate - and pretty soon, they'll be back there again walking around with the others eating the tufts of freshly watered green lawn surrounding the rose garden, and no doubt again walking freely...
