Abandoned Railway

Well day #2 and it was off to Glen Ogle for a walk along the old railway trackbed now turned into a cycleway on the old Callander to Oban line via Crianlarich we parked up at the summit of Glen Ogle to walk back to the well known Viaduct of the same name the line was due to be closed many years back but was closed early due to a massive landslide with rocks the size of houses wrecking the line sadly they closed the whole line back to Dunblane which was a terrible mistake as Callander is crying out to get it's railway back especially now that they don't even have a sunday bus service to Stirling no more which is the same as Aberfoyle both towns are the gateway to the Trossachs and First Bus group should be ashamed of themselves for cutting out sunday services after speaking to locals they feel totally cut off and I agree the railway should be brought back to Callander at least Aberfoyle is a different case as it's not as big a town but I feel sorry for the people of both towns so I decided to do this shot in sepia for the nostalgic look as I climbed the hillside to get this shot looking over the old telegraph pole and viaduct as well as looking down Glen Ogle now then movie for the day is " Abandoned 2010" Looks good LARGE as well See Ya
