Hot hot hot

Not the best of days:

1. Forecast of 43 degrees C
2. Hence all the national parks and reserves are closed because of the fire danger
3. It's the Rower's 500 blip day
4. Took the car in for service - and had booked a loan car.
5. Oh - she said - your license has expired.
6. Oh sh** I said.
7. Could not get the hire car
8. Had someone come down and pick me up, and called into the licence renewal place.
9. Got license - and to be fair it was only a 20-minute wait. And that's a minor miracle for a Government Department.
10. Too late for loan car - gone to someone else.
11. Sat at computer and spilt a very large glass of lemonade all over the desk, but luckily missed the keyboard. Spent a good hour clearing up the mess.
12. Been stuck inside all day, praying for something to happen at the bird feeder for poor Rower.
13. Finally, it's diet day and I am SO HUNGRY

I got this early on - that sunshine is fierce.
