A hostile view of law making

Another posted thought for the series. One that I haven't seen before. It is also on the other visible face of the triangular boxing. Very defaced along with another equally damaged previously unseen thought.

Our Government has made some laws, and is planning some currently, that might just fit with this viewpoint. I hope that the independent and non political nature of our judiciary might serve to protect the citizenry. Judges in New Zealand are appointed, not elected. The process of appointment is apolitical, as best as can be determined.

However, that such a thought can be put out there in this way is concerning, as it shows an attitude that identifies criminals as victims of political manipulation. I guess that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance to protect the rights and privileges (and duties!) of living in a free (and hopefully liberal) democracy.
