Trek - day1

We reached the station in the morning and as expected, the trek organizer was there to receive us. And then began the 3-day long comradeship of 25 people coming from different professional backgrounds and age group. The two people you see here are youngest and the eldest in the group. You might recognize the pretty one from here when we went on another trek in the same area earlier this year. Though the trek was not difficult by any standards, still we were thankful that it was not sunny to make things tiring. With a lunch break and many other 'catch-your-breath' breaks in between, we reached our camp for the night. It was an open area near a stream and a waterfall. Due to lack of rains, the waterfall, unfortunately was dry. People lost no time in jumping into the water to cool themselves off. I took a while, wanted to get some shots of people before I join the brigade.

Though this was a trek, I ended up taking mostly people shots rather than landscape...something that I dont regret. People shots interest me more than anything else...and others were anyway capturing shots of the place and the trek in general.
