Dog Rocks

Nope, I have no idea why they are called Dog Rocks.

A protected area just outside Geelong. We went there a few days ago and decided to head back for a sunset. In the end there wasn't much of a sunset but the sun going down was impressive enough for me.

A big day today - started the day with some shopping, then went out to Queenscliff for afternoon tea in the park and a visit to the pelicans. On the way back we went to Balyang Park so I could photograph cockatoos then out to Dog Rocks for the evening.

I have photographed many birds today - honey eaters, galahs, cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, red wattle birds, pelicans, willy wagtails as well as assorted ducks and swamp hens. Couldn't decide which bird to blip so went with this scene instead.
