Eastern towhee...again

I like this colorful little towhee so much I could probably blip him over and over and never tire of his wonderfully rich colors and perky posture. Today I captured him in several new poses, but I chose this one to share because his tail feathers are so beautiful. We had a change in weather again today. The temperature soared almost to the freezing mark (32 F). The prediction for the next few days is more snow and the coldest temps in over 20 years. We shall see!

I'm not actually sure if this is a him or a her. Guess I should read up on that in my bird book. Maybe I can find out. Look here if you want to see more photos from today, including a blue jay, and deer, and a red-bellied WP.
