Long-tailed Tit

I've not often been at home to see flocks of these little birds in the garden, I get told what I've missed! However, today I was working on my accounts at the table when I looked up and saw this one, just one.

I didn't think I could get my camera in time, or poke the lens through the vertical blinds without scaring it. I don't think I've ever blipped one, I couldn't find one on a search.

So, even though I was shooting through glass, on a dismal day, I'm glad I managed to add this one to my journal!

Got to the accountant in the afternoon to hand in my files just before the deadline. I'm gonna try hard to get the next set in soon after April! We'll see!
