Caught

... the last leaf. Spotted while collecting pine cones for the fire -- my only outing today, as it was grey and blustery. This is the first time I've tried cross-processing; I like the result here because orange and blue is one of my favourite colour combinations, and it makes the photo a bit less ordinary.

Yesterday evening we went to see Kellylee Evans at Sortie Ouest in Béziers with Lo Jardinier. We haven't seen him since we met up with him and chaiselongue in Sant Feliu de Guixols, far too long ago. We ate in the restaurant before the show, and it was lovely to catch up with him and converse about topics ranging from Occitan spelling to the vagaries of local councils.

Kellylee Evans was a lot of fun -- not the greatest singer ever, but she is a powerhouse of energy and has a good voice and a great stage presence, getting everyone involved. She casually mentioned that she'd been struck by lightning in June -- maybe it left some residual buzz. We all enjoyed it.
