Flowers in the Jungle

Unfortunately - or fortunately depending on how you look at it - it hasn't been cold enough yet to stop the grass growing. But it's been too wet to mow it (well that's our excuse anyway!) so it's a proper jungle out there.
Complete with every soggy leaf in Buckinghamshire that has fallen in our garden over the last few months!
But the crocuses have fought their way through and are looking pretty.
A reminder that eventually - after some cold weather I reckon - Spring will be here.
We've had a lovely Sunday. Fun with the Little Misses, a trip to the park for them and Mr K, lots of cooking for me - cauliflower soup for the freezer, braised leeks, peas and lettuce to go with our tasty roast lamb dinner, Angel Delight for pudding! A bit of homework, a bit of washing and tidying up.
A bit of stress but it'll work itself out.
