Snowdrops III

I enjoyed the snowdrops in a vase so much, I picked a few more today. We had a power cut last night that lasted the whole night through. It was lovely to see the hill bathed only in moonlight. A walk in the woods this morning revealed a lot of fallen trees including one that had broken a power line. No wonder there are power cuts.

Youngest son George is sailing this weekend in the Solent but he rang to tell us they'd taken shelter in Southampton's Ocean Village. They were planning to head off out again today under a storm jib. Oh well, it will all seem worth it when he flies out to Antigua on Tuesday to compete in the RORC 600 race - Caribbean blue water racing. That's more like it.

More snowdrops.
