The Edge of the Wold

Hiding

I can pretend that Gus understands the principles of hide and seek, but in truth he is just working his surrogate sheep, Rowan. I don't think he realises his ears are quite so conspicuous.

A late blip as we have just returned from seeing Laura Cantrell in Kendal. How wonderful is it that in a town set in rural Cumbria, we have visiting musicians of her stature perform in an intimate venue of a couple of hundred people? It was a concert to stay with you a long time.

Tomorrow we are on tour, heading south for Baby Oliver's christening. We shall be staying with the old flyer, and it really is just a flying visit as we shall be back home Sunday after a round trip of nearly 600 miles. I hope I may be able to fit in a blip or two.
