Field of Lights (and Harvey Nix)

Friday, and if it's Friday it must be back on an eastcoast train, but today only as far as Newcastle. The train was busy. Mid term so folk off to London for the week-end. Many, many cases.

One day I will spend time in Newcastle but today it was, as usual, plodding the pavement between the station and City House.

It was a managers' meeting, interesting as I manage the same service but don't have a Manager, if you know what I mean.

By the time we finished the sun was splitting the sky over the Tyne. And then it was back on even busier train, the Aberdeen bound diesel.

I was glad to get back to Waverley and have time to go up to St Andrew Square and see the Field of Light installation. Great fun whizzing the camera round to get light trails, but it was so cold.

So now, Friday night at home with a glass, or two. It's the week-end after all.
