Morning perch.

Finally made it back to the morning walks with the ladies. My cold having taken it's toll over the last two weeks. Not,the sunniest of walks but dry and not too bad underfoot compared with the previous two months.

Unless there is,a spectacular sunrise (now too early) there is rarely anything very interesting to photograph and we are usually too busy taking until we finish up at Coppice Pond to feed the ducks.

What took my notice this morning was this duck perched at the base of the fish sculpture in the same place as the coot on I photographed on Tuesday.

Must be a good place to ponder the day. ( Think the Canada geese wish they were small enough to get on it too!)
