The fruits of my labour

Another beautiful day - I have spent of all of it in the garden and this is documentary evidence rather than fine photography! Beds have been dug and weeded, paths revealed and cleared, duckweed hoiked out of ponds and I even mowed the lawn! Worth biggifying, possibly, to admire the heap in the wheelbarrow, the weedfree middle bed, the abandoned clothes (that blue heap on the right) !! The little tool shed is a bit lopsided due to a fallen tree almost lifting it up as it fell. Not much growing yet, but a few perennial herbs are popping up and the cats were rolling ecstatically in something. The bed nearest has a mixture of large mostly medicinal herbs (echinacea, arnica, St John's wort); the second bed will have onions or possibly potaotoes, and the last bed has cooking herbs (mint, fennel, dill, oregano). The bed by the red buckets has rhubarb and artichokes. Okay!! The polytunnel is also dug, watered and raring to go and little seed trays have things popping up. A long soak will be required later.

A full on day yesterday so have backblipped.
