1000 blips - oh happy day!

1000 blips!! Yup, we had a party tonight!! Whoo hoo! My sister and her husband are visiting from Connecticut and Dan's mom has been down here for a month. Kathy, Dan and his mom are behind the cook top, enjoying some yummy snacks before dinner and me & my mom are on the right. Steven of course, is taking the photo! We celebrated Dan's birthday, our new kitchen and my 1000th blip day! I announced this at dinner and even bought flowers for the occasion. We were having a party of course, but I like to think the flowers were here to help celebrate this happy milestone for me!

The bouquet is part of my blip tonight. It's the bottom layer/frame around the smaller photo and you can also see the actual bouquet of flowers in the center photo -larger. I bought lots of yellow roses, sunflowers and yellow spray roses for a happy, sunshiny feeling... Also because flowers and the color yellow are favorites of my friend Frieda: Art Quilter Pictures. It is Frieda's fault that I am here today celebrating 1000 blips. ; ^) On December 4th 2010, I started this blipfoto journal because Frieda, who lives in Scotland had discovered blip and joined. We have been friends for I think 10 years now, sharing art, lots of love and writing through the postal mail, email and much more online -blip and our blogs. So a big thank you to Frieda! And hugs too. I never expected to enjoy blip so much.

I appreciate all my blip friends more than you even know! You often make me laugh out loud and Steven will ask me from the other room, What's so funny??! I've learned so much, my photography keeps getting better (for the most part!) and you are all still so supportive even when I am not at my best. I am inspired by you and I love our conversations and connections. It's fun to learn about other places too, you are giving me wanderlust! I am very grateful for blip central too and all the work that makes blip work, thank you.
