More heather!

This is from a heather bush in my Dad's garden where we were visiting today. Stuart spent a lot of time doing gardening while we were there and Dad and I had a good chat and sorted out some ornaments. He had a big collection of bird ornaments, most of which were not that good, and he wanted to get rid of them. We took four that we particularly like - three of which were robins. They will probably become the subject of blips on rainy days!

We had a bit of a scary drive home - as we approached Arundel about 8pm., there was a sudden really heavy downpour and it was like sploshes of ice landing all over the windscreen and visibility was terrible even with the windscreen wipers on full. So we drove off the main road and sat for five minutes until the rain/sleet lessened. Stuart ended up driving at about 40 mph on the A27 because the flooding was extensive and was actually quite dangerous because it was difficult to see in the dark. Fortunately, there wasn't too much other traffic around.
