Engrossed

We went up to Stourbridge today to see Nanny and Grandad. Miss E was engrossed for most of the way in the latest Rainbow Magic set I bought her yesterday.
We had such a lovely day. First of all to Nanny's for a play and some belated birthday presents - a beautiful camera charm for my bracelet and her very own make your own perfume kit for Miss E which she loves. And a fantastic puzzle and activity book which kept her quiet all the way home.
After lunch we headed to Mary Stevens Park which is a fabulous park in Stourbridge. Enormous fallen trees to climb on, lots of scootering, a park gym which the Little Misses had a vigorous work out on, a playground with lots of things to climb on and spin on. And fall off! And a fire engine to climb in, and firemen for Mummy to ogle.
Also a van selling tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Yay.
And an ice cream van with an enormous queue. Miss E was uncharacteristically sensible and said we should just go and play and get an ice cream on the way back if it wasn't so busy!!
It was busier!
Then it was home for sensational tandoori chicken cooked by Grandad, a bit of Tinkerbell action, half an hour of procrastination and then back in the car to head home.
And sing along with the Frozen soundtrack. Again!
Only a few more days to go until the DVD arrives. Can't wait!
