Twas on a Monday morning....

the gasman came to call. Well actually they don't start till tomorrow, replacing the gas main in our and the surrounding streets but their accoutrements have all arrived. Then there were the 4 gasmen in hi viz walking down the Gardens, one to push the wheel, one to carry the bit of paper, one to make the chalk marks and #4, to keep the other three in line? ??

But me, I was off to a team day in Morningside. Not much to say about that other than I was sad the pub had no fish.

Later to the chiro and then home for a quiet night in. Still an hour's sleep to catch up on.

And the weather continues to be thoroughly miserable, cold and dreich with Fife and the Pentlands disappearing into an alternative universe.

Edit: 2 undelivered parcels today. 1 for #2 son to be picked up from Royal Mail, the other a huge green box left with a neighbour - and for ME. Yellow small rose and Thornton's chocs from #1 son and #1 daughter in law. I suspect more to do with WH than G who always says he despises 'Hallmark' days. I am very, very lucky to have such a great family. THAT is what's important, what I've got.
