April, come she will ...

What a glorious day for the first of April.

Chris cut the lawns yesterday for the first time, luckily as there as a deluge in the evening and the garden is always transformed. I,just had to take a picture of it looking exactly as April,in the garden should.

Lots of daffodils flowering; the magnolia about to burst open it's buds; in the top corner a lovely deep pink/red flowering currant (look LARGE) and the forsythia looking like a bright light against the fence. My reason for choosing this shot amongst the many I took is that you can see a reflection of the golden forsythia in the bird bath.
