Just Daffy

It was a successful day in the garden today with abundant sunshine and warmer temperatures. I planted pansies in my new large planter that sits on my back porch. They looked beautiful but there was something about this daffodil that was just begging to be blipped.
After doing a fair amount of work outside, we rewarded ourselves, took our cups of coffee and sat in the sunshine just enjoying the day. I had prepared a pot roast earlier in the day so it was simmering on the stove and making the house smell great. There is nothing better than having a good meal after being outside all day. The meal did not disappoint. It turned out great.
