Dusk Shoreline by the Kaituna Quarry

Passing Sunset Point on my way home tonight, I looked out towards Lake Ellesmere/Te Waihora and noticed that the light was full of potential for another HDR shot. With this in mind I carried on to the Rail Trail car park and walked out towards the lake shore.

This shot is made up of nine, one-stop interval exposures, ranging from 30 seconds through to a quarter of a second, merged in Photomatix and then processed in Lightroom.
