Gleann Lichd from Sgurr an Airgid

After the clear weather overnight, Saturday, predictably enough, was cloudy with smirrs of rain. We decided to go up the corbett Sgurr an Airgid, which is near Morvich. We hoped it would be sheltered from the southerly wind and, more importantly, clear of cloud. There is a really good stalkers path taking you up to the col east of the top, from which a path leads to the ridge up to the summit. We stopped for lunch in a sheltered spot below the final climb, and Mr Sod came to visit, bringing the only shower of our time on the hill. He also left some cloud, so there was a similar view to Friday from the top of the hill. It's a good wee hill, so we'll be back in clearer weather. The blip is of Gleann Lichd, in a brief brighter patch. The dinner at Kintail Lodge Hotel in the evening was excellent.
