Buzz Lightyear

Our first full day in Disneyland today. It feels like we've been here for a week already!
Staying at a Disney hotel you get to come in two hours before everyone else so we parked nice and close to the entrance and then skipped up in the glorious sunshine to meet Nana and Papa at about 9am.
We FastPassed Thunder Mountain and headed to the Pocahontas park for half an hour of fun. It was so lovely to sit in the sun watching the children play and the paddle steamer going by and listen to the birds singing. Frontierland is definitely my favourite part of Disneyland!
We then changed Miss L's shoes in preparation for Thunder Mountain. As usual she was measured twice but we got on fine.
I sat behind everyone on my own and had a wonderful view of the Little Misses with their arms up in the air for the whole ride.
Afterwards we went on the Molly Brown paddle steamer which was wonderful. So different to last year in the bitter cold. It really did feel like the Wild West in the sunshine!
There was just time for one more quick ride on Thunder Mountain before Nana and Papa took the Little Misses to the Pirate boat and play park while Mr K and I went to FastPass Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. And stop for a sneaky ice cream on the way!
Miss E's behaviour which had been getting worse all morning finally flipped just before we got to Pirates of the Caribbean She ended up being carried off kicking and screaming by a furious Mr K. Nana, Papa, Miss L and I went on without them and Miss E spent the next few hours hiding under the hood of the pushchair. She doesn't deal well with the constant stimulation I think.
She eventually perked up a bit by the time it was time to go on Buzz. We've never been on it before and it was fab. Riding in carriages with laser guns to shoot the targets marked with Z for Emperor Zurg.
Papa and Mr K got a little bit too into it truth be told!!
Then it was a trip to Endor in Star Tours which involved more napkins in Miss L's boots, then a boat trip round the world on It's a Small World
We finished the day with dinner in The Blue Lagoon which is the fab restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean. Salmon and rice for the Little Misses. Wonderful creole dishes for the rest of us.
The Little Misses were asleep before we got back to the ranch and we were not far behind them.
