A lovely pear...

... or it will be, hopefully, at the end of the summer. The blossom on our pear tree has really come out in the last day or so.

A rather ordinary (and barely sharp) blip after yesterday's staff pick. By the time I had finished work on the kitchen (redecoration almost complete) there was barely time to rush out to the garden before going out to meet friends for a pleasant dinner and catch-up.
