A view from Jeanneb

Windy Wilsden!

That's the name of today's walk except today it wasn't really windy.

This shot is taken from Noor Hill the high point behind Wilsden village and opposite Wilsden hill, where we walked last Monday, can be seen beyond the village in the middle distance.

The village on the far left is Denholme and to the right of Wilsden hill, Cullingworth.

On the, extreme right you can see the scar of the quarry above the hamlet of Ryecroft.

As you can see there were 5 of us today with the usual 2 dogs. From here we descended to Cottingley, in the opposite direction where we had a surprise of seeing two pot bellied pigs in one garden as well as some nearby Shetland ponies. See Corinthian Column.
We then circled back to Wilsden.

A super walk for a bright Good Friday morning.

Happy Easter everyone!
