Journey Through Time

Yellow Rumped Warbler

Wow, we had a whole herd...ahh, flock of these guys here today. They are still out there, flittering around the water fountain. But I think I'll call this good and quit obsessing over these guys. But, wow....warbler central out in the back yard today. This is the time of year to see them. We are officially on warbler alert.

Busy day yesterday so I never even posted a photo. Got auntie, did a few things with her, then back home. Bill worked as Easter isn't a retail holiday for most, and then our son showed up. I did a roast chicken dinner which came out pretty good. Then the Trailblazer basketball game came on and we watched that until 9 when Joan and I repaired to the other room to watch one of our favorite shows, The Good Wife and we could hear Bill and David whoop it up in the other room as the Blazers came from behind to totally disappoint Houston when we won in overtime by one or two points. In truth, our TV show was over and Joan and I got to enjoy the last bit of the game. It was in Houston and their roaring crowd suddenly became very, very quiet. We've been in that same situation and that's basketball, folks. A friend of Bill's, who goes to the games with him here, was back in NY to visit his son and family and he left Bill a message that no wonder nobody has heard of the Blazer's or pays attention to them in the eastern half of the US....the game was on so late, even this die hard Blazer fan gave up and went to bed.

A different kind of Easter. It's all good.

See ya later.
