Speaking of Rhododendrons...

...as we were yesterday, this beautiful dark pink beauty is in our side yard. The foliage shows signs of something wrong with it but we will be cutting the ones we have in the side yard near our veggie patch way back this year. They are trying to get to be one of those giant rhodies like we saw yesterday, and we just don't have the room for them. We should have thought that through a little better. But, for now...they are putting on a great show.

Today a hot east wind is blowing bringing in very warm temperatures that will last through Friday...I am not crazy about the hot wind, but the warm feels pretty good.
