Bye, Bye Maine!

Dear Diary,

Emerson is in a meditative mood this morning as I pack up the car to head to Boston. I will be flying to Shannon, Ireland on Friday night but there are things to do, people to see first. It is tough to leave when the daffodils are bursting and Spring is awakening the world. When I get back the lilacs will be in bloom. Emerson is probably dreading the three hour ride...not a good traveler I'm afraid.
