Last day in Paradise

I woke early and lay and looked at the view across the South China Sea for the last time.  Polycarp was back to work and Pamela had already left to climb the mountain.  The 2 French friends were still there though.

I did all the things you have to do when you're leaving - pack and spend the last moments relaxing and a final swim.  Then it was off to the airport for a bit of a wait.  Good flight back.  I was tired and dozed.

LCCT is even worse now.  It closes on Thursday night and already bits are shutting down.

Bus back to Sentral and by the time we got there it was a mother and father of a thunder and lightning storm and torrential rain.  Welcome back to KL!

I met #1 family and we got caught in the rush hour, heavy rain traffic.  Back they had a quick snooze before we walked over to Souled Out (rain had stopped) for a meal with #1 son's friend.  WH and I came back leaving the guys to it and while I checked e-mails, she worked.  It was very hot and sticky in the apartment.  We had a bit of a chat about the Chinese after birth confinement traditions - a month with no air con, special 'hot' food and you're not supposed to wash your hair, for a month!

Bed, but no sleep.
