An ordinary life....

Tree Leafs...

This tree is one of my favourites.

It's on the outskirts of our little town and I've blipped it before in winter. I've been patiently waiting for it to come into leaf so I could blip it again. Big plans about which angle to photograph it from and how close to be, but sadly there are no signs of life or leaf. Ever the optimist, I'm hoping it's just a late bloomer. We'll see.

Alan had an appointment with the Gastroenterology Consultant this morning. Just a routine check up. He was very pleased with his progress since the last meeting before Christmas. Alan's gained weight, is eating a wider variety of food and in bigger quantities and there's been no flare up of his colitis since Feb 2013. Good news all round.

Sadly this is our last appointment with the Paediatric Consultant as he will now transfer to the Adult Service. Crikey! Can't believe we're at that stage already!

He wasn't chuffed at getting dropped back at school as he thought he was getting a skivey half day. No chance. He'll have left school soon enough!

D and I stopped for lunch at the golf club on the way home and the poor man tortured himself watching all the golfers heading out onto the sunny course when he was heading back home to get on with work. He's playing on Sunday when the weather forecast is heavy rain. Oh dear.

Friday again peeps and an evening of relaxation planned. Not long till cocktail hour ;-))

Have a good one.

Oh god! Just heard about the horrific fire at Glasgow School of Art. No loss of life thank god, but still a tragedy.
