BLIPPING LOVELY

It's a big weekend in Boscombe/Bournemouth with lots of classic cars, motorbikes, racing cars and associated paraphernalia (good word!) so I got Mr. HCB to stand next to a bright red Lotus Esprit and thought "blip sorted", although it's fair to say he wasn't that keen to be the "blip of the day"!

However, when we went for a coffee at South Coast Coffee in Bournemouth, because most people sit at the large table in the middle, a lovely mum and daughter sat opposite us, and of course, we got chatting, as we do!

Daughter, Sammy Gregory, is a hair and make-up artist currently studying BA (Hons) Make Up for Media and Performance at the Arts University, Bournemouth and mum, Jill, had come down from Wales for the bank holiday weekend. They were intending to go shopping and were looking forward to having a good time together.

We said we had walked along from Boscombe and were telling them about the cars and motorbikes etc and Sammy said she specially likes Harley Davidson motorbikes, so we told her where to find them along the prom - they thought they might go and have a look and then come back and look round the shops.

Sammy showed us some photographs of her work and it was amazing - do have a look at her website here.

We spent a pleasant half hour with them so here are two lovely ladies who brightened up our morning.

I hope Jill and Sammy and all you fellow blippers have a great weekend! Sadly, it's just started raining again, but maybe it will clear up before the fireworks start later.
