Dove

A very early start. We had to do our second birdwalk of the year. Quite a change from the first one; a huge flock of starlings and several of these collared doves (Streptopelia decaocto).
The first collared doves in Britain were seen in Norfolk in the thirties, they started breeding by the fifties and are now common right up to the North of Scotland.

Later in the morning we went up to meet Shandonner and Bignonsense and the Meatbag and had a fine blether and a daunder including use of the Magic Key :)
