The Edge of the Wold

Together again

Gus has been almost inseparable from Wifie since they were reunited after 5 days yesterday. Here they are, after the rain, at Jack Scout (after coffee and a cake at Wolf House).

We had an interesting meeting this afternoon with the man who will be printing the photographs for the exhibition. The images are all chosen now, though I am continuing to put together for the same event an extended slideshow of photographs of the landscape and wildlife of the Arnside & Silverdale AONB taken in the last three years. This is where the nagging feelings of self-doubt start to creep in. It's an honour to have been asked to do the exhibition, but something of a responsibility too. I am, after all, a scientist and not an artist.

After all the rain, the sky has cleared now, and Gus has that look on his face, so we shall go for a walk along the estuary. I shall be back later to catch up with comments.
