Day Lily

Today I did some tidying in one of our small borders, it is looking exactly how I want it to look with lots of small plants as well as some larger plants including Everlasting Sweet-peas, Honeysuckle, Pyracanthus, Ferns, Lavenders and Rosemary. Then I tidied up my Alpine ‘sink’ garden, which needs a few more plants in it. I also sorted out three hanging baskets, which contain herbs and then sorted two smallish tubs. By mid-morning it was very hot so I came indoors to continue with my sorting and packing.

While working in the garden this morning I noticed this orange Day Lily flowering in one of our long borders, so this is my choice for today.
