The Second Before.....

It was the 40th Anniversary of our Village Children's Gala today and the sun shone. It's a wonderful gala because the aim is simple fun and it's also easy on parents' pockets.

This is one of the favourite games. Children volunteer to sit under the washbowl filled with cold water and their friends and family throw balls at a button which, when hit, tips up the bowl.
