Rebuilding

One BBC

Since Television Centre closed down last year, Broadcasting House is no longer just the Domestic Radio headquarters of the BBC. We now share our space with TV, Radio and Global News, the World Service, BBC Online, the Weather Centre, BBC London and some bits of telly, including The One Show. In the past few months, we've had such bizarre events as Chris Evans throwing a giant multi-coloured slinky out of our office window, brass bands and bagpipe players marching loudly around the piazza and various celebrities having a go at taking football penalties right outside the building. Today, as I left work with my team-mate Sarah, we were entertained by the cast of the hit musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. In the centre of the photo are Rufus Hound and Robert Lindsay, two of the show's stars, taking part in a full camera rehearsal an hour before The One Show went on air tonight.
