89th birthday Bosham visit

Today was my Dad's 89th birthday and we had a really good day together. My hubby and son weren't able to join in because of other commitments. We had fish and chips for lunch and then went to Bosham for a while. The weather was glorious and hot - not at all what had been forecast. I think it must all have gone over Glastonbury instead! We had a walk and then a long sit on a bench near the church overlooking the harbour, followed by a cup of tea in the cafe which is right alongside the water. I then drove round the edge of the foreshore - which was very seaweedy as the tide had just gone out. Quite fun though!

We had strawberries and cream at tea-time, as well as birthday cake :-)
