Star

The Dome, or rather the O2, where stars of yesteryear are playing, the Pythons. It was captured from the DLR at 8 this morning. I was on the 6.40 to LCY. It's the holidays so even at 6 am the airport was uncharacteristically busy, full of people in flip flops and sandals, heading off to sunny climes. It didn't stop our on time departure and we landed 25 minutes early. So by 8.30, 3 hours after leaving home, I was in Spitalfields with an Americano.

It was a day in London for another star, an Outcome Star. Unfortunately it turned out to be damp squib and not as funny as the Pythons. There we were on the hottest day of the year, sat inside hearing. ....

Then back on the crowded 6 o'clock train with the M and S salad. Just as well, catering ceased at Darlington. It was an uneventful journey, quieter after York.

An on time return and no wait for a #31 meant home by 11. Long day and little achieved. I should have shoved after all.
