Cold day for cycling. Ben Wyvis had a good covering of snow last night, to fairly low levels this morning. So plenty other hills coated too.

Some good news was that I heard that Jess, the very musically talented daughter of a good friend, has been playing at the Albert Hall!

Alas, some tragic news at work, regarding one of our colleagues, Mick Parry, who died this morning. He worked at one of the other sites, for the Science Dept. It was always a pleasure to work with him, fix the odd bits-n-pieces etc. and share stories. We were of similar vintage. A fine fellow. Ever cheery and fun. He will be so greatly missed, by all his family and friends.

Rest in peace Mick.
